First night of Haunt for the Zombie-Highschool was brilliant. I made several grown men screamed, managed to make a minimal amount of children scream, and received several compliments on my zombie sounds/my version of the Matilda walk. And guys…hey guys. Guess what? I get to do it again tomorrow!

Yes ma’am! It was actually quite fun ; my room has desks set up in a way that I can “stumble” into one, throw myself towards the other one, and then right myself…I’ve decided that my character has a broken back, so I just kind of flop around. I just wish the guy I’m working with knew how to operate the closet. He just kind of steps out of it, instead of…y’know, actually trying to startle people. I can’t be a distraction if there’s nothing to distract from.

This broody farmyard hen was spotted sitting on a litter of kittens after they strayed in to her nest. A cat intruded on her usual nesting spot and used it to keep her kittens warm. Instead of kicking up a fuss, the bird appeared to adopt the four kittens and sat on the kittens and their mother. Husband and wife Linda and Richard Oldani captured the sight on camera at their farm in Clymer, New York.
